- Sunday: 9:00a, 11:00a, & 4:30p
Life happens. Suffering is real, and most suffering can’t be wished away or comforted by a well-intentioned friend quoting a couple of Bible verses and promising to pray later. Sometimes suffering doesn’t have an expiration date. Sometimes suffering is overwhelming. Sometimes suffering is suffocating.
There are times when the help of a godly friend, Impact Group Leader or mature disciple can be enough, but there are times in our lives when we just need help connecting the broad promises of God to our specific brand of suffering. We need help connecting the gospel to our need. How does this Sunday’s sermon on marriage help me understand how to walk through my despair over being single? If the gospel saves me from my sin, how does it help me understand how to walk through the pain of being victimized by someone else’s sin?
Sometimes, our suffering is so severe, so deeply rooted in a person’s identity. Let us walk with you through that. The Biblical Counseling Ministry at Harvest exists to walk alongside hurting people. Please contact Joanne McHenry at to set up a time to meet.
