We want the same thing for our kids that we want for our adults - that they would become complete disciples.

Higher Ground is our ministry for kids ages birth through fourth grade. We want the same thing for our kids that we want for our adults - that they would become complete disciples. In Higher Ground, we use age-appropriate worship and teaching so the kids can understand what it means to worship, walk, work, and witness.

Higher Ground

Sunday mornings. 9a and 11a.

We want to see the children Biblically grounded. In Large Group time, children get to worship our Savior and to learn more incredible Bible stories where God is the hero in every one. During Small Group time the children will play fun games and activities to help apply the lesson to their lives. We also provide a weekly take-home sheet that helps the family come together to discuss Biblical truths their children learned at church.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS (During the school year). 6:30P-8:15P.

Your child's discipleship is so important to us that we created a midweek program designed just for them. Every Wednesday throughout the school year we meet from 6:30-8:15pm at the church. Caring leaders encourage kids to grow in their walk with Christ through lessons from the Bible, memorizing verses, playing fun games, and participating in Small Group discussion. Kids also have the opportunity to show their creative side as each night of the Awana year has a special theme such as crazy sock night, sports fan night or crazy hair night. The last night for the 2016-17 season of Awana will be April 5. Walk-in registration is still welcome.

Child Dedication

Our next Child Dedication service will be in the Spring. If you are interested in being a part of that service, please register for the Purposeful Parenting Study, which is a prerequisite for Child Dedications, when it is offered again in the Spring.
